The Aleksanteri Institute at the University of Helsinki is currently looking for three postdoctoral researchers in Russian studies for a three-year period starting from March 1, 2018. The postdoctoral researchers to be appointed will have proven expertise in one of these areas:

1.       Russian Environmental Studies

2.       Russian Big Data Methodology, or

3.       Russian Law and Administration.

Their main duties will include full-time research in their respective fields. The posts will require both independent and collaborative scholarly publishing, as well as some teaching and other tasks.

The candidates must have a doctoral degree granted prior to the closing date for applications but no more than five years prior to application (2012 or later).
